Ana M. S. Soares

Ana Soares holds a PhD in Chemistry, MsC in Medicinal Chemistry and Graduation in Applied Chemistry by University of Minho. In between developed research in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry in FCT-New University of Lisbon in the synthesis of tuberculostatic agents. After PhD developed research in bio-based materials as postdoctoral researcher at Department of Polymers in University of Minho. Currently Ana is member of Alchemy Project as researcher and her research line focus is the development and valorisation of bioactive lipids, as well as the development of bio-based polymers from industrial residues in a circular economy context.
