Ana Rita Mendes holds a BSc degree in Biochemistry in 2016 from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade de Coimbra (FCTUC) and an MSc in Food Engineering in 2019 from Escola Superior de Biotecnologia - Universidade Católica Portuguesa (ESB-UCP).
She began her professional working in some Food and Packaging companies and currently she is a Biotechnology PhD Student at the ESB-UCP with the project: Mass transfer properties of bio-based materials. Application to nano zinc oxide as antimicrobial food packaging.
Her main interests involve Engineering, Food Technology and Nanotechnology.
