Completed his PhD in 2019 in Environmental Engineering, MSc in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology and BSc in Biochemistry. Currently researcher at ALCHEMY project working in the extraction, purification and valorization of by-products and as part of the Alchemy sustainability team. Has worked in the bacterial biotechnological production and application of compounds with industrial relevance in iron nutrition in agriculture, complementing his work with analytical and inorganic characterization and in-vivo trials. Has also worked in an endocrine disruptor-monitoring project in Douro River and Porto coastal and in the development of a biomarker for endocrine disruptor exposure. Has worked as project communication and outreach manager in a international project. Has experience in waste valorization, protein extraction and purification, chemical (metal) speciation, metal biochemistry, food and soil dynamics, sustainability and green metrics and statistical analysis and data analysis.
