Cindy Serafim has a bachelor degree in Genetics and Biotechnology (UTAD) and a master degree in Biotechnology applied to Health Sciences (UTAD). From 2017 to 2020, holding a researcher grant, she participated in the European project Urbanmycoserve at CBQF/ESB-UCP. In 2020 started her PhD project that aims to optimize the use of ectomycorrhizal inocula as a biotechnological tool for the improvement of plants’ resilience in field. The results are expected to contribute to the establishment of sustainable management strategies in forestry.
