Cristina M Monteiro graduated in Microbiology (ESB-UCP, 2001) and completed a PhD degree in Biotechnology – Microbiology (ESB-UCP, 2010). Currently she is a researcher at CBQF, on the subject “Green Roofs in Urban areas”, regarding rainwater management and urban resilience and sustainability. Her research always focused on the Environmental Sciences and her interest topics includes nature-based solutions, water quality, urban water management and reuse, hydric efficiency, urban ecosystems.
