Currently, a postdoctoral researcher in university catolica de Porto-Portugal, working on BioProtect project “Development of packaging material biodegradable with active properties for food preservation”: The production of biodegradable materials with specific functional agents in order to improve gas and moisture barrier properties and mechanical properties compared to current materials, and to give an active role in preserving perishable foods.
