Hugo Miguel Melo Giesteira

Hugo Giesteira is a Software Developer in the Alchemy Project at the Fermentation Solutions research group (Strain Design and Fermentation line) at CBQF.

With a bachelor’s in informatics engineering and a master’s in bioinformatics he has a career dedicated to developing software related to Metabolic Engineering in both academic and industrial organizations.

He is currently involved in a project focused on developing a platform to help the design strains process.
