Maria de Fátima Marques Alves Miller

Fátima A. Miller graduated in Microbiology in 2001 and got her PhD degree in Biotechnology with specialisation in Food Microbiology at UCP-ESB in 2009. She is currently a researcher of CBQF and an invited assistant professor of Biology. Her research is focused on mild processes optimisation, approaching the quality and safety characteristics of fruit products.
She has participated in international funded projects and supervised several master and PhD students. She is a member of the editorial team of the International Journal of Food Studies and the IUFoST Education Committee.
