Bachelor in Material Engineering from Centro Federal de Educação Tecnológica de Minas Gerais in Brazil, and master’s degree in chemical engineering from Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (IPB-Portugal). Currently, is a PhD student of Biotechnology at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in partnership with Centro de Investigação de Montanha. Worked on the “PLANTCOVID - Applications of plant extracts with SARS-CoV-2 targeted action” project. Background in extraction techniques of bioactive compounds and interests in the areas of sustainability and biopolymer materials.
