Rafaela Geraldo is a PhD student in Biotechnology at ESB where is studying the effects of lentil consumption on cardiovascular health and associated morbidities. She completed Master´s degree in Applied Microbiology at ESB and Bachelor´s degree in Biochemistry at FCUP. She performed 2 extracurricular internships and have 2 posters, 2 oral presentations and 1 publication. Rafaela's research knowledge comprises techniques: immunohistochemistry, bioluminescence detection, flow cytometry, microorganisms and cell culture, ELISA, PCR and molecular biology.
