Graduation in Microbiology in ESB/UCP, followed by MSc in Microbiology in ESB/UCP and a further MSc in Forensic Sciences in FMUP. Participation in several research projects, namely, PROBIOCAPS, PROBIOFRU, NOVOMAR and Pro-Tech-CLNA as research fellow and CVMar+i and CAPEOSBAC as investigator.

Current PhD student in “Food Science and Technology and Nutrition” doctoral program in Universidade do Minho, Universidade de Aveiro and ESB/UCP, and research fellow in Pro-Tech-CLNA.

Main research areas include Microalgae, Probiotics, Prebiotics, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Food Science.
