A Junior researcher in the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, at Porto. I am working in BioProtect Project (Development of packaging material biodegradable with active properties for food preservation). I granted a degree in European MSc in Food Science, Technology, and Business where I worked on the project on Recycling of polypropylene by supercritical CO2. I have also worked in the development of a new method for antibiotic-free decontamination using plasma technology for the preservation of biological tissue at the Forschungsinstitut für Nutztierbiologie in Dummerstorf, Germany did my under graduation in Chemistry, Delhi University where I worked on the project-Computation studies on the interaction of Neurophysin I and oxytocin. These years of academic nourishment in science and being from a rapid-paced developing country I have understood the necessity and urgency of sustainability. The importance of sustainability in the food packaging industry has become a part of my Ikigai, purpose in life.
