Valter Filipe Reis Martins holds a BSc in Phytofarmacy of Aromatic and Medicinal Plants, a MSc in Farmacy and Chemistry of Natural Products and another MSc in Food Quality and Safety, all degrees from the Escola Superior Agrária de Bragança of the Instituto Politécnico de Bragança.

Currently, I am a PhD student in Biotechnology, specialization in Food Science and Engineering at the Escola Superior de Biotecnologia – Universidade Católica Portuguesa, working on the topic of Valorization of Microalgae and Agro-industrial By-Products in the Development of Biodegradable Coatings Under a Circular Economy Approach.
