Seminar "Guinness in Africa: new branding at the base of the pyramid"

We find that branding in Africa depends on immaterial labor to create affect and shared meanings. This approach to branding in Africa tends to over-promise emancipatory possibilities as it maintains emblems of colonialism. The practice has many implications for doing business in Africa.
