Ana Margarida Ribeiro Teixeira

Ana Margarida R. Teixeira holds an Integrated Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences by Universidade do Porto, Faculdade de Farmácia (FFUP), 2019. In January 2017, she became a Research Trainee at REQUIMTE-LAQV, Porto and published 4 peer-reviewed indexed articles in journals: 1 review in with IF: 5.399 (2018), in top 5 of Rank in Chemistry Applied. She received 6 awards and/or honors. Currently, she is pursuing a PhD Programme in Biotechnology, with specialization in Microbiology, in Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Her main work involves the dispersion of antibiotic resistance within nature-based solutions and surrounding biota, evaluation of antibiotic resistance genes in aquatic environments, specially in wastewater and constructed wetlands, their dissemination and her interests are mostly in the area(s) of Bioinformatics, Microbiology and Molecular Biology methods.
