Disruptive research: opportunities within the European Innovation Council (Pathfinder)

26.10.2022 15:00
Escola Superior de Biotecnologia | Auditório Arménio Miranda

A session will be held on the 26th of October 2022 on funding opportunities for disruptive research under the EIC - European program Innovation Council (Pillar 3 of Horizon Europe). The session will be especially dedicated to present the EIC's PATHFINDER instrument to the Porto ecosystem research community, as well as other entities of the scientific and technological community.

The PATHFINDER instrument aims to support disruptive research projects that explore radically new ideas. They are normally open to any scientific area, with some calls for topics proposed by the EIC. It will support innovative projects and solutions that enhance new markets. This instrument supports both individual projects and consortium projects, where the participation of a variety of actors is well received. It is the direct heir of the Horizon 2020 – Future and Emerging Technologies program.

Given the existing synergies and considering the relevance of these programs, the wider research community is invited, appealing to other people/entities that may be interested to share this invitation. The Portuguese participation in these instruments is strategic for the development of the region and the country.

This event is promoted by the Portuguese Catholic University through CBQF – Center for Biotechnology and Fine Chemistry, in collaboration with ANI (National Innovation Agency).

The event is free and registration is mandatory HERE.
