Ilídia Cabral, professor at the FEP-UCP and researcher at the CEDH - Centre for Studies in Human Development, held in September 16th, a lecture on "The Grammar of Schooling and school success: results from a multiple case study", at the University of Saint Joseph in Macau, hosted by the Faculty of Psychology and Education of the institution.
Interviewed by Macau Daily News, the teacher explained this concept already explored by David Tyack and William Tobin with case studies, in order to question why schools generally show themselves reluctant to change conventional forms of school learning, when the experience shows that school practices and learning strategies should meet the current needs of students.
