Researchers from the Centre for Studies in Human Development - Raquel Matos, Luísa Campos, Mariana Negrão and Luísa Ribeiro Trigo - will develop a new project - PROMISE “PROMoting youth Involvement and Social Engagement: Opportunities and challenges for 'conflicted' young people across Europe” - in the next 3 years.
Funded by Horizon 2020, the PROMISE project aims at studying 'Youth inclusion and social engagement' through a comparative quantitative and ethnographic research of 'youth in conflict' across Europe. With a global award of 2.5 million euros, the PROMISE project will be developed by a consortium of 12 partners coordinated by the University of Manchester (see here).
