Graduated in Chemistry (BSc and MSc), at the Faculty of Sciences of University of Porto, since 2011. Developed work in the areas of biomass valorisation, catalysis and preparation and characterization of functional materials. In 2015, as R&D Superior Technician at INNOVCAT, Lda, focused efforts in the development and optimization of new methodologies and processes, for the production of high value by-products from industrial residues. She also supervised all the laboratory activities including stock management and equipment maintenance.

Currently, as Lab Assistant at ALCHEMY project, the work focus in the development of strategies to find valuable biomolecules from waste streams of the fermentation processes of Amyris. Thus, through lipidomic, physico-chemical and thermal characterization it is possible to deepen in the stability of such biomolecules and their biocompatibility.
