João Pedro Bebiano e Costa

João Costa holds a PhD in Regenerative Medicine, Tissue Engineering and Stem Cells, from the University of Minho, Braga and a MBA in Hospital Administration and Health Management, from the University of Nebrija, Madrid. His research interests focus on the area of Regenerative Medicine and Biofabrication (3D Printing) for the development of orthopedic implants. During his PhD, he was a visiting researcher at two of the most prestigious universities in this field: (1) Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Winston-Salem, NC, USA and (2) University College of London (Orthopedic department), London, UK. He was recently awarded a contract through the Scientific Employment Stimulation Contest – Individual to develop his research project. He has published 27 scientific articles, is the author/co-author of 3 international patents and holds several oral lectures at national and international congresses.
