Open Lecture with Álvaro Costa | RADIO 2.1 Tracks and ideas about the future, present and past!

The next-6th feria, May 18, at 11:30 am, there will be an Open Class with journalist and presenter Alvaro Costa, Auditorium on the A5 Católica.Porto - Polo da Foz

Álvaro Costa is a striking figure of the media in Portugal. In her vast professional resume - and mentioning only the latest - we highlight the radio Goodfellas (Antena 3), Alavro.com (Antena 1) and the TV show Latest League (RTPN/RTP1) and Top of Tops (RTP Memory). He lived in the U.S. and England where he worked at the BBC.

Its enormous communicative skills combined with a keen interest and experience in the media world makes him a privileged speaker. In his presentation, Alvaro Costa presents the academic community UCP his latest project ACN Radio, accompanied by a reflection on the role of radio in the Internet age.

Presentation of final papers of Master in Sound and Image

Calls to the entire university community to be present at 21h30 in the Auditorium Ilidio Pinho, Catholic University Porto - Foz Pole, for the presentation of projects of the Master in Sound and Image. This presentation is free entry and will be followed by the Bar Harbor Honor School of the Arts.

Aula Aberta com Álvaro Costa | RADIO 2.1

Na próxima 6ª-feria, 18 de Maio, às 11:30h, terá lugar uma Aula Aberta com o jornalista e apresentador Álvaro Costa, no Auditório A5 da Católica.Porto - Polo da Foz.

Álvaro Costa é uma figura marcante dos media em Portugal. No seu vasto currículo profissional - e mencionando apenas os mais recentes - destacam-se os programas de rádio Tudo Bons Rapazes (Antena 3), Alavro.com (Antena 1) e o programa de TV Liga dos Últimos (RTPN/RTP1) e Top dos Tops (RTP Memória). Viveu nos EUA e Inglaterra onde trabalhou na BBC.

A sua enorme capacidade comunicativa aliada a um profundo interesse e experiência no mundo do media faz dele um orador privilegiado. Na sua exposição, Álvaro Costa apresenta à comunidade académica da UCP o seu mais recente projecto ACN Radio, acompanhada de uma reflexão sobre o papel da rádio na era da internet.
