The 4th edition of the Biotechnology Innovation Forum: Think Big in Biotechnology, will be held under the theme “Accelerating bio-innovation, now!” highlights the need for setting the stage for bio-based innovations.

The Competition

The 4th edition will host for the 2nd edition of the Amyris Innovation BIG Impact Award, an Innovation Contest in Biotechnology promoted by the Católica Porto Alumni Biotecnologia, in partnership with the School of Biotechnology of Universidade Católica Portuguesa, and Amyris Inc, as its main sponsor. The Competition is based on the promotion of Biotechnology innovation as a key driver for economic development and it aims at promoting new processes, technologies, or services that are both marketable and sustainable, with BIG positive and measurable impacts on Society. Selected applications will benefit from a prize money together with a mentorship session with Amyris Inc. CEO, John Melo.
