The discussion concerning the free transmission of private property should not be restricted to a political level; instead, it should be extended and include topics such as the protection of fundamental rights.

The reflection over the question of private autonomy, in the sense that each citizen can determine the fate of his property post mortem, has to take place in the broader context of current problems regarding new goods, and of private property and collective goods.

The Conference will be hosted in Católica Porto Law School between April 13^rd and 14^th.

As Comunidades de Aprendizagem e Prática (CAP) são uma nova iniciativa organizada pelo CLIL | Católica Learning Innovation Lab, o Laboratório de Inovação Pedagógica da Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP).

As CAP pretendem proporcionar aos docentes da UCP a oportunidade de integrarem um grupo ou comunidade online, que irá explorar novas metodologias e estratégias pedagógicas nas seguintes áreas: Capacitação pedagógica transversal, Aprendizagem através do digital, Aprendizagem por Pares, Aprendizagem-Serviço e Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas e Projetos.

As Comunidades de Aprendizagem e Prática iniciam no dia 22 de março, pelas 17h30, com um evento online, que durará cerca de duas horas. A primeira parte do evento é aberta a toda a comunidade académica e contará com a presença de Isabel Vasconcelos, Vice-Reitora da UCP, e com a intervenção de Karen Matthewman (University College, London) que falará sobre o conceito, as vantagens e os desafios inerentes às Comunidades de Aprendizagem e Prática. A segunda parte é reservada aos docentes inscritos nas CAP.

Get to know the International Studies Programme, a Master’s in International and European Law at the Porto Law School of UCP Porto, fully taught in English.

It is opened to undergraduates in Law, International Relations, Political Science, Business, or any other field of social sciences.
